I went to the gents' loo at my local last night and found that someone had scratched "GBNA" on the toilet door.

I thought to myself that's bang out of order!

There was a species of seaweed that grew elegant fronds which attracted many forms of sea life to feed, shelter or breed.

This species was so successful that it swelled in number to such an extent that it almost eradicated a rival species of seaweed which relied solely on sea anemones for its existence.

One day, one of the anemone dependent (and rather sickly looking) seaweeds turned to its neighbouring fronded seaweed and asked: "Why do you flourish so well when our kind tend to wither and die off?"

And the healthy seaweed replied; "Well, with fronds like these, who needs anemones?"

And I was pretty shocked, too!

I read somewhere that it costs over £10,000 to mount an expedition to climb Mount Everest.
