Dr Who And Me - A Confession

I have several friends online here who are keen on Doctor Who, some of them have been since the glory days of Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee or even earlier, and a few could be classed as borderline obsessives (you know who you are!)

I enjoy these people's friendships as I normally look beyond what anyone's interests are in order to try and get to know the person rather than the interests.

BUT - here's the confession - I've only ever dabbled a bit with the newer series of DW, nowhere near enough to even call myself a viewer, let alone a fan - so far I think I've seen two complete episodes of Doctor Who and around half a dozen of Torchwood, yet I still enjoy some of the banter about the series and occasionally join in with ribbing Mr Tennant.

There. That's got that off my chest, I feel so much better now.

Ah, you could genuinely hate Doctor Who, and that's fine by me. I don't generally don't ever listen to hard rock or metal music, except for a few tunes, so I suppose it evens out, ey?

  I'd like to have more interest in DW, but sharing a house with my parents means it's not always possible to hog the telly, and if I nip off up to my room there's always the added distractions of my Playstation, my music collection, my Terry Pratchett novels... You get the idea?

I will admit that I started watching Dr Who only after being told the rumour about him.....he is known as David Ten Inch

I'm sure you can understand my reasoning.....

Shock, horror.... You've only ever watched two whole episodes |8 I'm surprised!!!

Nahh, I used to be a Dr Who fan when I was a kid, and then lost interest. It's only since they started them up again that I've started watching (although David Tennant is pretty easy on the eye) again, as they are quite interesting.
